"A man was detained after officials said he set off an incendiary device at a federal building in Lower Manhattan, triggering an investigation from the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force.
The event unfolded about 8:30 a.m. near the 26 Federal Plaza building. The building houses an array of federal agencies, including Department of Homeland Security offices. Over the past year, the building has also been the scene of protests and conflict as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have been arresting undocumented immigrants who show up for court proceedings."
