"Liberal comedian and talk show host Bill Maher walked away impressed after dining with a man often at the receiving end of his punchlines: President Donald Trump.

On the March 23 episode of his podcast, Maher told fellow comedian Andrew Schultz that his decision to accept Kid Rock’s offer to facilitate the dinner with Trump was a repudiation of liberals who believe Trump should not be platformed. Maher said Trump’s success with voters proved he is a voice worth listening to.
“F--- you. I’m not playing this game that you mean girls play. Where, like, ‘oh, you know what? You can’t sit at my lunch table because I’m just not talking to you.’ Not talking to you? You lost the election. Who the f--- do you think you have to talk to?” the comedian said."
