Trump Leaves The Door Open To MTG Reconciliation
"President Donald Trump on Saturday indicated that he would be open to mending the fence with U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) after the congresswoman abruptly announced that she would be resigning from congress on Friday night.

Greene, who was first elected in 2020, announced in a 10-minute video statement that she will be resigning from congress effective January 5. The move follows weeks of mounting tension between the congresswoman and the White House, which began in earnest when she took an adversarial position against both Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) while appearing on left-wing networks and shows.
The president had harsh words for his once close ally in a Truth Social post on Saturday morning, referring to her as “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown,” his new nickname for Greene.
While taking questions from reporters while heading to Andrews Air Force Base, the president was asked whether he would be open to repairing his relationship with the outgoing congresswoman. “Before you had a fight with Elon Musk but you were able to work it out.”
The reporter continued, “Do you see the same thing happening between you and Marjorie Taylor Greene?”
Trump answered in the affirmative. “Sure, why not?”
In her video announcement, Greene took subtle jabs at the president by calling the primary challenge threat “unnecessary” and divisive for the pro-Trump base. She did, however, state that she is a supporter of the president’s agenda and noted that she introduced multiple bills to codify his agenda."
