"Former Trump ally Marjorie Taylor Greene has announced she will step down from Congress following a public spat with the President over the release of the Epstein files.
The announcement came just days after the public feud with the President, which saw Mr. Trump withdraw his endorsement of Ms. Greene and say he would back a primary challenge against her in next year’s midterms.
The Republican congresswoman had been one of the leading voices calling for the release of all Department of Justice files relating to Epstein.
The President launched an attack on Ms Greene on his Truth Social platform last week, where he labelled her as a "traitor", "wacky", and a "ranting lunatic", before saying all she does is "complain, complain, complain".
The Georgia representative told CNN on Sunday that she strongly disagreed with the White House’s failure to disclose the entirety of the files."
