She has been blamed for inciting unrest and protests against federal agents working in Los Angeles to apprehend illegal aliens.
Footage posted to social media on Friday showed her being dragged from a Tesla and arrested by masked ICE agents. She was apparently filming a livestream video when she was apprehended.
Martinez has apparently been transferred to a detention center. It’s rumored she is an illegal alien herself, but no confirmation of her immigration status has been forthcoming.
Nearly 1,500 people are being deported each day by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as immigrant detentions hit a new record."
